Hot pink and black wedding cake

Yeah, for my first wedding cake! I LOVE how this turned out. The cake is almond sour cream cake with traditional buttercream. It is trimmed in black satin ribbon with a hot pink ruffle ribbon on top. There are a few silk floral accents and a traditional bride and groom topper.

I love getting new customers! Tthis one is for a local middle school's tennis team's banquet.

First Birthday Balloon Cake

My very talented friend, Winnie, sews and has been doing my monograms for a while. I made the boys outfits for Disney last year but with a very, very active almost 2 year old, Max in baseball, my cake business, and no where to sew but the kitchen table, I didn't want to tackle it this year. I asked her if she would be interested in doing some sewing and monogramming in trade for her boys birthday cakes. Thankfully, she said yes and I got some super cute outfits and Henry got his cute balloon birthday cake!

Strawberry shortcake

For my precious nieces birthday my sister in law asked for a Strawberry Shortcake cake. My sweet girls unfortunately have food allergies so the top of the cake is egg and dairy free. The rest of the cake is butter cream with fondant accents. It was a beautiful day even though it was suprisingly chilly. The girls liked the cake but I think mommy liked it even more.  Happy 3rd Birthday Emma and Belle! We love you!!

Pirate cake and cupcakes

These were for our friend Cason's 3rd birthday. He loves pirates and of course his mommy had a pirate themed birthday complete with costumes for each child that attended the party.  I loved the way it all turned out minus the mast that just wouldn't come together. It was so cute but just wouldn't stay together. Oh well. I love the pirate and his mates and the cupcakes even though they took forever were super cute. I think the kids liked the chocolate pirate ships better than the cupcakes. They were so excited they could eat them! All in all a successful start back post surgery.

An offical shout out to my sister Jessica! I couldn't have made it through the weekend with out her help!
